Job Description
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the wood products industry, is seeking a dedicated Production Associate to join their team. In this role, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing process, supporting various operational functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Production Associate
Location: Strongsville, OH
Pay Range: $17
Shift: 7am - 3:30pm
What's the Job?
- Set up, operate, and complete all stages of the fabrication and finishing process for wood products, including cutting, shaping, sanding, assembling, coating, and finishing using machinery, tools, and UV equipment.
- Ensure product quality by verifying dimensions, inspecting materials for defects, and performing related duties to support operational efficiency.
- Assist with general labor duties
- Support changeovers, set ups, and adjustments for production activities
- Maintain equipment during down periods through cleaning and preventive measures, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
What's Needed?
- Ability to climb stairs, stand for extended periods (2-3 hours), and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with seasonal temperature fluctuations.
- Consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure safety at all times.
- Flexibility to work overtime, including some weekends, on various schedules.
- HSD or GED
