Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Production Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working in a woodshop environment, assisting in the manufacturing of game call components. The Production Associate will assist with various woodshop and assembly tasks, including operating machinery, preparing materials, maintaining a safe and organized work area, and supporting production goals. This is a full-time position with a regular schedule of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

What You'll Do as a Production Associate

  • Operate and maintain woodworking machinery, such as saws, sanders, routers, and other hand tools.

  • Cut, shape, and assemble wood materials for custom projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.

  • Assist in measuring, marking, and cutting wood pieces accurately according to specifications.

  • Inspect materials for quality and report any defects or discrepancies.

  • Help with the assembly of products, ensuring each piece meets quality standards.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.

  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

  • Work closely with the production team to ensure project timelines and deadlines are met.

  • Assist with inventory management, including restocking materials and supplies as needed.

  • Perform basic maintenance on equipment and tools, ensuring everything is in good working condition.

  • Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and finished products.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Woodshop Manager or Production Manager.

The Preferred Candidate:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in a woodshop or manufacturing environment is preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of woodworking tools, machinery, and techniques.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

  • Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines consistently.

  • Forklift certification or experience.

  • Experience with CNC machines or other advanced woodworking equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).

  • Prolonged standing, bending, and reaching during work.

  • Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment.

  • Exposure to wood dust, fumes, and other work-related environmental factors.
