Job Requirements
1. Provides production labor towards assigned work areas.
2. Follows established company policies and procedures.
3. Communicates effectively both in written and verbal forms.
4. Works in a safe manner.
5. Focus on a “team” concept.
6. Focus on achieving company production standards. 7. Comply with Haven Steel’s health and safety policies and procedures.
8. Communicates performance improvement ideas to supervisory staff.
9. Participate in timely first part and hourly quality audits. 10. Provide and assist with production set up activities.
Job Responsibilities
• Must be able to life 50 pounds, sometimes repetitively, throughout the duration of the shift
• Must be able to reach overhead, work in stooping, kneeling, and standing positions.
• Must be able to perform pushing, pulling, bending, and climbing activities using hands, wrists, elbows, shoulders, back, and legs.
• Must have dexterous use of both hands.
• Must have good, corrected vision.
• Must be able to work in above average temperatures (100+ degrees). • High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have the ability to work with minimum supervision after receiving job instructions.
• Must have a positive and respectful attitude.
• Must have the ability to learn manufacturing operations, procedures, and technology.
• Recommend corrective actions to ensure the meeting of production goals.
