Job Description
American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) provides technical development and commercialization of domestic, sustainable sourcing of critical battery materials through lithium-ion battery recycling and battery metal extraction technologies for use in batteries that power electric cars, grid storage applications, and consumer electronics and tools. Our first of kind systems produce commercial-scale battery materials that are sold into the battery manufacturing supply chain.
As a Production Engineer Intern, you will assist in various projects aimed at improving production processes and developing solutions to complex engineering challenges. You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced engineers and gain a deep understanding of plant operations, process optimization, and equipment performance. This position is perfect for students seeking to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world setting while contributing to the future of sustainable energy.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with engineering principles and concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative on projects.
- Prior experience in a technical or manufacturing environment (internships, co-ops, or related coursework) is a plus but not required.
