Job Description

Job Title: Production FloaterLocation: Cold Spring, MNCompensation: $20.00–$25.00 per hour – paid weeklySchedule: 1st, 2nd, and Weekend ShiftJob Type: Temp-to-Hire | Full-timeAbout the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Production Floater workers for a granite manufacturing company in Cold Spring, MN. In this role, you’ll help produce high-quality granite products while supporting a skilled, team-oriented production environment. If you enjoy hands-on work, learning new equipment, and working with your hands in a manufacturing setting, this could be a great fit. Read below for more information!What You’ll Do as a Production Floater:
  • Load and unload granite materials into production machines
  • Read production tickets and gather correct products and patterns
  • Use overhead cranes to move materials in and out of machines
  • Operate CNC machines, with training available for setup and programming
  • Finish and polish final granite products
What You Need to Bring to the Production Floater Role:
  • Must have at least 1 year of machine operating experience in the last 3 years
  • Must be able to read a tape measure accurately
  • Must have basic computer and math skills
  • Must have strong attention to detail (hands-on or mechanical hobbies a plus)
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Willingness to work in multiple production areas and collaborate as part of a team
  • Good color perception (must not be color blind or color deficient)
  • Willingness to wear required safety gear, including steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection
  • No CNC experience required – training provided
