Preference Employment Solutions is confidentially recruiting for a Production Manager for an organization based in Fargo, North Dakota. Additional and specific details about this opportunity will be shared with potentially qualified applicants upon review of each resume. This position will include the responsibility of overseeing a continuous manufacturing operation. Strong people leadership skills are needed in addition to extensive knowledge in production operations.Location: Fargo, North DakotaType of Position: Full Time Direct HireSchedule: Monday-Friday, weekends as determinedCompensation: $117K - $150K DOEBenefits: Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, HSA, FSA, Life Insurance, Short/Long Term Disability, Retirement, PTOPosition Overview:
- Plan production schedules (labor and equipment) for optimal output
- Oversee material handling to ensure production can run smoothly
- Ensure production meets customer quality expectations across all shifts
- Initiate and lead process improvements
- Maintain a safe work environment and culture
- Review key performance indicators and communicate among leadership
- Coordinate with Maintenance for repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment efficiencies
- Support employee training and development
- Bachelor s or associate degree in engineering, industrial technology, manufacturing, related field, or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing (3 years production supervision)
- Strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of manufacturing operations, and leadership
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and manufacturing system software
- Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
