Job Description
Summary:
- This role is specific to the McPherson, KS location.
- Shift: 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday. Overtime may be available or required.
- Assemble components according to blueprints, routers, work orders, checklists, and specifications.
- Complete assembly checklists accurately.
- Monitor stock bins and report stock needs to Shop Floor Lead(s).
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by following company standards and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to work effectively unsupervised.
- Strategic and creative thinking to analyze issues and create solutions.
- Respond positively to feedback and implement change in processes and procedures as needed.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to understand and interpret drawings, BOMs, and procedures.
- Read, write, and communicate in English.
- Stand and/or walk for 10 hours a day, with minimal breaks.
- Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds independently or up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Vision abilities include close and distance vision, color distinction, and observing small handwriting, labels, and components.
- Wear steel-toed shoes and safety glasses.
- Wear hearing protection in designated areas.
- Work on the production shop floor without controlled temperatures, varying with weather conditions.
- Occasional exposure to fumes and minimal to moderate noise.
