Production Operator

Pay rate: $25.16/hrC Shift: Thursday –Saturday, alternating Wednesdays, 5: 40 AM –6: 00 PM Job SummaryWe are seeking motivated Winder Operators to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating winding and packaging equipment, ensuring product quality, maintaining safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Operate winders, packaging machines, and banding equipment.
• Monitor production lines and perform quality checks.
• Print and apply pallet labels accurately.
• Track scrap and production data.
• Assist with product changeovers and web break repairs.
• Maintain housekeeping and workplace organization.
• Communicate quality and equipment concerns promptly.
• Follow all safety procedures and standard operating practices.
• Support team training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing or process-related experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, SAP, or similar systems is a plus.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Physical Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a manufacturing environment.
• Lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
• Ability to distinguish colors and shading.
• Ability to wear required PPE and work in varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Must be able to become forklift certified if required.
