We’re Hiring: Production Planner / Production CoordinatorLocation: Elgin, SC | Schedule: 4-day week | First ShiftDo you enjoy solving problems, coordinating operations, and helping keep manufacturing running efficiently?AMBAC International is hiring a Production Planner / Production Coordinator to support our Elgin, SC manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and takes pride in driving operational efficiency and on-time production.You’ll work closely with operations, supply chain, engineering, purchasing, and leadership teams to help ensure production schedules, materials, and workflows stay aligned.Why Join AMBAC?• Employee-owned and Open Book Managed• Multi-year winner of Best Places to Work in South Carolina• 4-day workweek (Monday–Thursday, First Shift)• People-first, team-focused culture• Gain share bonuses and growth opportunities• Opportunity to contribute directly to operational success and continuous improvementWhat You’ll Do• Develop and manage production schedules based on demand, capacity, and material availability• Monitor inventory levels, work-in-progress, and material flow• Partner with supply chain and purchasing teams to manage material needs and shortages• Utilize ERP/MRP systems to track production performance and inventory accuracy• Identify production bottlenecks and support operational problem-solving• Communicate production updates, risks, and recovery plans across teams• Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiativesWhat You Bring• 2–5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations• Experience working in a manufacturing environment• ERP/MRP systems experience preferred• Lean methodology experience• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and operate with professionalism and accountability• Ability to operate managerially despite functioning as an individual contributor• Veterans encouraged to apply• Multilingual a plusSchedule• Monday–Thursday approximately 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM• Occasional Fridays as necessary to support operational and business needsWhat We Offer• Paid time off• 401(k) with match and employee stock ownership (ESOP)• Gain share bonuses• Health, vision, and dental insurance• Life, short- and long-term disability insurance• Stable, collaborative manufacturing environment with long-term growth opportunitiesAbout AMBACWe’ve been building power and engine systems since 1910.
