Job Description
Synigent is seeking an experienced Manager, Production Planning for one of our clients to lead production planning and control for a Richmond-area manufacturing operation. This role will oversee a team of approximately 17 employees and ensure production schedules, materials, capacity, and resources are aligned to meet customer demand and delivery targets. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage production schedules across manufacturing operations.*
- Lead and develop the production planning team.*
- Balance customer demand with capacity, inventory, materials, and labor.*
- Monitor production performance and resolve scheduling or material constraints.*
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems and production data to improve planning and execution.*
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Customer Service to meet business objectives.
- Manufacturing experience with 35+ years of leadership experience.*
- Strong background in production planning, scheduling, production control, and inventory management.*
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel skills.*
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.*
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
