Job Description:The Production Shift Supervisor position is a salaried, supervisory level position that is generally responsibility for all aspects of shift operation and acts the liaison between hourly staff and Production Management. Production shiftschedules are 12 hours (36/48 per week), require working every other weekend and scheduled holidaysQualifications:Safety:• Serves as safety champion to promote safe behavior and wellness for the shift• Active participant on the Safety Committee; Trains, supports and enforces safety policy & procedures.Personnel:• Staffing –Coordinating coverage and line assignments.• Payroll – Approve employee time & attendance in ADP.• Personnel evaluation & development – Participates in employee performance review process; Identifies trainingneeds and ensures training is provided.• Disciplinary – Responsible for enforcing company policies and disciplining employees accordingly.• Training and Development – Insures personnel are trained for current and future roles.Quality & Product Output:•Oversees quality testing on samples; Trains appropriately.Facility:• On-site contact person after hours for emergency purposes (fire, burglar, accidents, etc.)• Facility & system management (Alarm system maintenance & contact, understanding of utilities, etc.)Profile and Background:• A minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Professional demeanor with attention to detail in a fast pace work environment.•Experience in plastic extrusion industry preferred.Excellent Pay and Benefits package:
