Job Summary

Position Summary

Work Hours: 1st Shift (Mon.-Sat., 6 AM - 3 PM)

The newly created, full time Production Supervisor position is responsible for overseeing server production operations, including RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) activities, managing technical teams, monitoring productivity and quality of debug activities, controlling floor materials, and ensuring operational flexibility to meet business demands. This role includes full people-management responsibility, including hiring, training, performance management, and termination decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and execute server production plans, ensuring targets for quality, cost, and delivery are met.
  • Manage and oversee RMA processes, ensuring timely diagnosis, repair, and closure in alignment with defined SLAs.
  • Hire, train, evaluate, and terminate production and technical staff as required to meet operational needs.
  • Lead, coach, and manage technicians, ensuring proper task allocation, accountability, and performance development.
  • Monitor, analyze, and improve debug productivity, identifying and eliminating inefficiencies.
  • Ensure high diagnostic accuracy and repair effectiveness, reducing repeat failures and rework.
  • Control and monitor materials on the production floor, ensuring inventory accuracy, availability, and compliance with procedures.
  • Enforce quality, safety, and operational standards throughout the production area.
  • Track KPIs related to productivity, quality, yield, and efficiency; prepare and present performance reports.
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, Planning, HR, and Logistics teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage flexible work schedules, including shift changes, overtime, and resource reallocation based on production demand.
  • Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labor regulations, and corporate governance standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 4(+) years proven industry experience as a Production Supervisor or similar leadership role in a server, hardware, or electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of RMA processes, troubleshooting, and hardware repair.
  • Demonstrated experience with people management, including hiring and termination responsibilities.
  • Experience working with productivity, quality, yield, and operational efficiency metrics.
  • Solid understanding of material control, inventory management, and production floor logistics.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules based on operational requirements.
