This leadership role is responsible for overseeing production operations, supporting team members, driving safety and quality initiatives, and ensuring production goals are achieved. - Lead, coach, and support production employees while serving as a liaison between hourly associates and plant management
- Drive safety, quality, productivity, sanitation, and waste reduction initiatives while ensuring adherence to company standards
- Coordinate daily production activities, resolve scheduling and equipment issues, and prioritize workflow to meet production goals
- Conduct team huddles, communicate production objectives, and provide training on SOPs, GMPs, and food safety requirements
- Monitor production performance, participate in quality audits, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency
- High school diploma required; technical, engineering, or related education is a plus
- At least 1 year of manufacturing or food manufacturing experience
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience, or equivalent leadership experience as a team lead
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays as needed; bilingual Spanish is a strong plus #SMNCareers
