Production Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our growing consumer products manufacturing team in Alexandria, Minnesota. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving daily production excellence, team performance, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and supervise a team of production associates to ensure daily output targets, quality standards, and safety goals are met or exceeded.
• Plan and organize daily production schedules, assign tasks, and adjust workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Monitor production metrics (output, scrap, labor efficiency, downtime) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Enforce all safety policies, conduct safety training, and maintain a clean, compliant work environment (OSHA, GMP, and internal standards).
• Oversee quality control processes to ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements.
• Train, develop, and mentor team members; handle performance reviews, coaching, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to resolve issues quickly and support overall plant goals.
• Track and report on shift performance; identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve processes.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of direct experience as a Production Supervisor (or equivalent leadership role) in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record leading teams in a consumer products or packaged goods manufacturing setting (food, CPG, or similar preferred).
• Strong knowledge of production processes, safety regulations, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and people-leadership skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends or overtime as production demands require.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; no college degree needed—we value hands-on experience and results.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to relocate to Alexandria, MN (full relocation package provided).
