ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team at KRUSH. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of production associates through all phases of manufacturing — from new product introduction through scaled production — and will report to the Production Director. This is a highly dynamic role that requires both frontline technical and people management skills, and a rare opportunity to help shape a manufacturing organization from day one.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Manage production staff in the build and delivery of KRUSH products through inspection, test, and acceptanceSet priorities and direct daily operations, including timely issuing and completion of work orders to the production floor; clear blockers daily so the team can hit their goals Ensure all operators are following safety procedures and standard work tasks; proactively identify and drive safety improvement opportunitiesPrioritize work activities for operators to achieve on-time delivery goals Be an active participant in 5S and continuous improvement activitiesComplete transactions in production systems ([ERP/MES — e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Epicor]) on a daily basis Maintain accurate inventory levels in each work areaProvide a weekly report-out of production progress, blockers, risks, and needs Lead daily communication with cross-functional partners — engineering, quality, materials/planning, and maintenanceSupport issue resolution, including root cause investigation and corrective action (CAPA) tracking Execute and maintain standardized manufacturing instructions and control plansEnsure quality standards are met throughout the production process; no defects leave a station or team area Generate daily pass-downs and quality reports for engineering and operationsManage, coach, mentor, and support production associates on shift Build a positive, collaborative team culture that promotes product knowledge, skills development, and cross-trainingBe willing and able to work hands-on alongside your team, including new-operator training and equipment troubleshooting, as needed Show up every day with urgency and ownership — this floor doesn’t run itselfRequirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of experience managing or supervising a team in a high-volume production/manufacturing environment Demonstrated knowledge and experience working in a manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of production rate, critical path analysis, and core manufacturing fundamentals Full understanding of the product life cycle (NPI to scaled production), Lean manufacturing principles, and change management (ECOs)Ability to interpret technical documentation (mechanical drawings, work instructions, build specs, equipment specs) Hands-on and comfortable being on the production floor; proven skills in process and equipment troubleshooting; adapts easily to a constantly changing production environmentPassion for employee development — genuinely enjoys training and developing both new hires and veteran staff Knowledge of 5S, Lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma principlesExcellent written and verbal communication skills; reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Must qualify as a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities (ITAR)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or Applied Science) Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certifiedWorking knowledge of AS9100 standards and OSHA regulations Experience with electrical and mechanical assembly/integrationForklift and/or 3A hoisting certification a plus Experience ramping a line from low-volume to high-rate productionPrior experience in defense, aerospace, or another export-controlled manufacturing environmentBenefits
