The Production Technician is an integral part of our Manufacturing team based out of our US - Sarasota, FL site.

Hourly rate range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00

Position Details

Phibro Biotechnics is a worldwide leader in the development of bioproducts for a large range of bioremediation and bioaugmentation applications including wastewater, soil/ground water, industrial and consumer products, poultry, and agriculture. We are seeking enthusiastic, team-oriented individuals to join our Production group in this full-time, entry-level position. This position is 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 5:00 am- 1 :30 pm, with some mandatory overtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Operation, care and routine maintenance of production fermentation processing equipment
• Assembly and disassembly of valves and manufacturing equipment
• Clean and sanitize work room and equipment between each production run.
• Accurately weigh raw material for production
• Participate in inventory counts
• Must be able to perform daily duties safely in a fast-paced, team environment
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment including general cleaning duties for plant and employee safety
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and GMP practices
• All manufacturing activities will be performed according to SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures)

Education & Experience

• High School diploma and/or 1 to 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred but not required .
• We will train the right candidate.

Good hand/eye coordination

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to, hair net, beard net, face mask, foot covers, lab coat, and protective footwear.

Able to stand for more than three hours at a time without a break
