Job Description
Job Title: Production Helper Urgently Hiring!Pay: $18-$19/hourHours: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday | 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM (Off: Saturday & Tuesday)Start Date: ASAPWe are seeking a Production Helper for a temp-to-hire position with our client, a well-established, family-owned bakery in Westbrook, Maine. The Production Helper will assist with the daily production of baked goods in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. The Production Helper plays a key role in maintaining workflow, quality, and consistency as the company continues to grow. This is a great opportunity to join a hardworking, close-knit team with long-term employees and a reputation for quality. As a Production Helper, you will be responsible for:
- Stretching dough and placing it onto baking trays
- Loading and unloading speed racks for baking and cooling
- Reaching overhead, bending, and performing repetitive tasks throughout your shift
- Supporting other production tasks as needed
- Participating in cross-training to assist various areas of production
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a physically active or production-based environment preferred
- A team-focused, positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- The ability to adapt to physically repetitive movements and light lifting
- Physical stamina to bend, reach, and work in a fast-paced setting
- No fake nails or hand jewelry, per food safety standards
