Job Title: Production WorkerLocation: Worthington, MNCompensation: $17.00 per hour - paid weeklySchedule: 1st ShiftJob Type: Temporary/ContractAbout the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Production Workers for a leading manufacturing company located in Worthington, MN.   • Perform production line work on first shift, including operating presses to produce biodegradable feed drums
  • Feed materials into presses and remove finished drums from the production line
  • Assist with general production tasks to support consistent workflow and output
  • Occasionally make local deliveries using a company pickup truck and trailer (under 10,000 lbs., no CDL required)
  • Operate a forklift or learn to operate one safely as part of production duties
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals
  • Assist in overseeing the production process and support supervision of two production workers when needed
  • Follow safety practices and procedures while handling equipment, materials, and vehicles
What You Need to Bring to the Production Worker Role:
  • Forklift experience preferred, or willingness and ability to be trained
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. occasionally with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to safely drive a pickup truck with a trailer, or willingness to learn
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others
  • Willingness to take on added responsibility by filling in for a supervisor as needed
  • Availability to work first shift in a production environment
