The comprehensive benefits package includes:Full medical, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurance coverageShort-term and long-term disability protection401(k) retirement planTransportation/commuter benefitsGenerous paid time off (vacation, sick leave, and parental leave)Annual discretionary profit-sharing opportunitiesMerit-based performance bonusesWhy This Role:Work on nationally significant cases with sophisticated legal challengesCollaborate with highly regarded trial attorneys and litigation teamsProfessional development and mentorship opportunitiesStable, collegial firm cultureModern office environment in downtown ChicagoJob DetailsWhat You'll Do:Support partners and senior attorneys in managing complex, multi-party products liability litigation from inception through trialOversee comprehensive document management systems for large-scale case files, including electronic databases and physical recordsHandle medical record collection, organization, and analysisPrepare, issue, and track subpoenas in compliance with jurisdictional requirementsCoordinate case timelines, court deadlines, and attorney schedulesPerform legal and factual research with attention to detail and accuracyReview, analyze, and create summaries of complex records and depositionsPrepare and file pleadings, motions, and other court documentsProvide critical trial support, including exhibit preparation, binder creation, and courtroom logisticsWhat You Bring:3-5 years of litigation paralegal experience (products liability or complex civil litigation preferred)Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experienceExceptional organizational abilities with proven multi-tasking skills in fast-paced environmentsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with litigation management software and e-discovery platformsFamiliarity with case management systems (Perfect Law experience a plus)Proficiency with Zoom, Adobe, Dropbox, and other standard legal technology toolsSelf-motivated professional who excels both independently and collaborativelySharp analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detailInterested in hearing more?
