Job Description
Professional And Technical Writing CoachAs a Professional and Technical Writing Coach, you will play a key role in elevating writing standards across the firm. Key responsibilities include:Delivering one-to-one writing coaching to employees across a range of roles and seniority levels
Advising teams on complex written materials, including proposals and technical documents
Supporting colleagues in improving professional, financial, and technical writing
Helping individuals refine their work to meet the firm's high standards
Contributing to a writing-heavy culture through coaching, consulting, and learning initiatives
This is a highly collaborative, people-focused role requiring strong judgement and the ability to engage effectively with a diverse stakeholder group. Experience coaching or teaching within higher education settings or corporate environments
Strong ability to assess and provide actionable feedback on complex writing
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical thinking, sound judgement, and interpersonal skills
High levels of discretion when handling confidential information
Preferred experience:Background in learning & development, writing centers, or corporate communications
Familiarity with technical, financial, or professional writing environments
Experience coaching STEM professionals or advanced academic students
Knowledge of writing pedagogy, rhetoric, or composition theory
Familiarity with AI writing tools and advising others on their use
