Job Description

I am partnered with a consulting firm in West Jordan, Utah that is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor to join their team. This role includes managing survey projects, supervising field and office staff, ensuring accuracy of deliverables, and signing/sealing survey documents. This will be a 100% in-office role.

What you will be doing:

Oversee boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, CSMs, and plats
Work directly with other team members, mentoring and leading
Supervise survey crews
Review field data and ensure accuracy
Attend project meetings and represent the company professionally
Interpret deeds, title commitments, easements, and legal descriptions
Monitor projects from start to finish, interacting with clients

What you will need:

5+ years of experience
PLS required
AutoCAD, Civil3D
Strong knowledge of Wisconsin surveying laws and standards
Experience with boundary analysis and legal descriptions
Excellent communication skills
Project management and leadership experience preferred
Experience with UAV, LiDAR, or photogrammetry a plus
Well-developed understanding of surveying process, start to finish
