The Freeman School of Business at Tulane University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure system faculty position in Finance. The appointment - at the rank of Professor or Practice is for three years, beginning July 1, 2027. Salary, teaching load, and benefits are competitive with other major research institutions. Hiring for this position is subject to final budgetary approval by the University.

Professors of Practice and Lecturers at the Freeman School deliver rigorous undergraduate and graduate courses, often with an experiential learning focus and are expected to remain active in their fields through professional and scholarly activities. Service to the Finance Area, the Freeman School and Tulane University is expected.

Candidates should submit a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, a teaching statement, student course evaluations, and a list of two professional references (with contact information) who can provide confidential letters of recommendation. Candidates are expected to be either professionally qualified (i.e., Master's Degree in Finance or a related field and a substantial record of recent professional experience) or academically qualified (i.e., Ph.D. in Finance and actively engaged in scholarly and/or professional engagement activities). We seek collegial candidates who can teach a wide breadth of undergraduate and graduate finance courses, who have evidence of excellence in teaching, and who have the ability to build relationships with industry partners.
