Job Description

Are you looking for an opportunity to make an impact and shape the future of the commercial real estate (CRE) industry?

The Program Analyst- Innovation supports Innovation Planning & Operations by owning operational performance transparency across the organization. This role develops deep context on organizational performance and application performance data, maintains the day‑to‑day partnership with the Business Intelligence (BI) team, and translates reporting needs into actionable plans and delivered outputs. The Program Analyst ensures reporting artifacts remain accurate, decision‑usable, and consistently packaged for leadership consumption, while proactively surfacing insights and implications from the data.

Innovation meets excellence at Berkadia, where we give you the space you need to create and allow your ideas to flourish. We are leading the evolution of CRE and can't do that without innovators who are driven by curiosity and are willing to challenge the status quo as they chart their career path - and Berkadia's future. Be Part of Building the Next. Be Berkadia.

We Innovate to shape the future of CRE, so in this role you will:

Responsibilities:

  • Master business performance data (organizational + application performance), including drivers, definitions, and limitations.
  • Own the day‑to‑day BI partnership and serve as the translation layer between Innovation leadership needs and BI execution.
  • Translate reporting requirements into executable plans (scope, dependencies, sequencing) and deliver alongside BI.
  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve reporting outputs (dashboards, drilldowns, executive views) and ensure they remain accurate, consistent, and decision‑usable.
  • Maintain reporting outputs + proactively surface insights (trends, anomalies, implications) without waiting for requests.
  • Partner with peers and leaders to translate performance data into comms‑ready, leadership‑usable outputs and operational pulse inputs (key narratives, themes, and implications).
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency through automation and repeatable processes (templates, standard definitions, reusable components).
  • Support recurring operating rhythms (e.g. Town Halls, quarterly reviews, newsletter) by ensuring data accuracy, validating input, and outputs are delivered on time.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders; set expectations on deliverables, timing, and inputs/decisions required to proceed.
  • Build strong relationships across Innovation and partner teams; operate effectively in ambiguity and drive work to closure.
  • Other duties as assigned.

We Stand for Excellence, so to achieve success in this role you should have:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years' experience in business analytics, program operations, reporting, or adjacent roles (or equivalent capability).
  • Proficiency with data/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) and comfort working with datasets and metrics logic.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate ambiguous asks into clear requirements and deliverables.
  • Demonstrated operational discipline: planning, follow‑through, attention to detail, and high-quality output standards.
  • Scrum/Agile familiarity required.
  • Experience with software delivery operations (e.g., delivery reporting, milestone tracking, backlog hygiene, release visibility, delivery metrics).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience partnering with a BI/analytics team to deliver reporting solutions end‑to‑end.
  • Exposure to automation tooling (e.g., Power Automate) and improving reporting workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret data, identify meaningful insights, and frame implications for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in a matrixed or enterprise environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement (identifying inefficiencies, standardizing repeatable motions, driving incremental operational improvements).

We believe People Matter, so we offer benefits that go beyond:

  • Monthly paid volunteer hours and donation matching to benefit our communities
  • Employee Resource Groups that help you grow with us
  • Fertility and family planning services
  • Up to 12-weeks of fully paid parental leave
  • Mental health care, including free counseling sessions:
  • We'll help fund your learning journey with generous tuition reimbursement
  • Pet insurance discounts
  • And more!

Be Part of Building the Next. Be Berkadia.
