This position and the Chief Impact Officer will work together to build district relationships and support school and district personnel in developing structures based on a strategic plan for growth tied to the school improvement plan. This individual must develop a strong understanding of Oregon's school district dynamics, system influencers, and feeder school patterns, and is responsible for engaging and leveraging internal and external stakeholders, cultivating relationships as a cultural broker with LSES ambassadors and senior staff leaders, and creating increased awareness of, and advocacy for, Greater Than's value proposition.

  • Develop and manage partnerships with local businesses, community organizations, and individuals that provide financial or in-kind support
  • Promote family and caregiver engagement, including work with the Parent Community Group (PCG) and the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC)
  • Support strategic planning aligned with the school improvement plan, including future expansion into middle- and high-school programming
  • Track and report program and partnership data in collaboration with the Impact and Evaluation team

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate degree required; degree in education, social work, or a related field preferred
  • Master's in Education, or 2–3 years of relevant experience in family/community engagement, equity-focused education, or continuous improvement work, preferred
  • Fingerprinting and driving record check required
  • Bilingual/multicultural experience and familiarity with the LSES community strongly preferred
