Join Our Team - IPEC Program Assistant (Food Distribution & Delivery Operations)

The Indigenous-led food systems team at IPEC is hiring a dedicated and dependable Program Assistant to help deliver fresh, locally sourced food products to tribally controlled schools, BIE schools, and community partners.
This is more than a driving position - it's an opportunity to directly support food sovereignty, strengthen local agriculture, and build meaningful relationships with Native communities and producers.
What You'll Do:
- Safely transport and deliver food products across regional and long-distance routes
- Support produce aggregation, inventory management, and warehouse operations
- Work directly with tribal schools, local growers, and community partners
- Help ensure food quality, safety, and timely delivery
- Represent IPEC with professionalism, reliability, and cultural respect
This Role Is Ideal For Someone Who:
- Enjoys independent, hands-on work
- Has professional driving or delivery experience
- Takes pride in organization, safety, and customer service
- Wants to contribute to community-centered food systems
- Values relationship-building and serving tribal communities
Qualifications Include:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- 2+ years of delivery or professional driving experience preferred
- Ability to drive long-distance routes and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with tribal communities or schools is highly valued

Salary: Hourly wage pay is $18.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
