Join Our Team as a Senior Program Manager in Austin, TX

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Program Manager to lead and manage data analytics programs at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that empower staff to utilize data and AI for strategic decision-making. Responsibilities

Serve as a critical liaison between IT leadership and project sponsors, managing communications across technical and non-technical staff.
Lead multiple analytics projects using hybrid Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Develop and refine AI prompts and query strategies for complex data domains.
Ensure data outputs adhere to agency standards, governance, and compliance regulations.
Champion data literacy and promote a data-driven culture within the organization.
Stay updated on new AI and data analytics tools to enhance program competencies.

Requirements

8 years of experience translating complex analytics project intakes into actionable plans.
8 years of experience explaining complex data initiatives to non-technical audiences.
8 years of experience in senior project management or data liaison roles.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with presentation and design tools such as PowerPoint and Visio.

Preferences

5 years of experience leading hybrid Agile and Waterfall project plans.
Experience with Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse.
Experience in health and human services or similarly regulated environments.
Experience with data governance and quality principles.
Experience managing scrum of scrum ceremonies and applying SAFe principles.
