Program Manager

This role is pivotal in orchestrating the comprehensive planning, strategic sourcing, evaluation, and technical execution of intricate programs involving electronic, electromechanical, and engineered materials for leading aerospace, defense, and military clients. The position encompasses business development, fostering supplier partnerships, implementing cost efficiencies, and ensuring flawless program implementation while adhering to stringent regulatory standards throughout the product lifecycle. Serving as the chief liaison amongst customers, suppliers, and internal teams—including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance—you will ensure timely, cost-efficient delivery of components, assemblies, and compliance-driven solutions. Responsibilities include spearheading strategic sourcing initiatives, enhancing supplier performance, mitigating risks, and fostering cross-functional teamwork in line with FAA, ITAR, DFARS, AS9100, MIL-STD, and client-specific mandates. A leader in aerospace and defense sectors, this role requires adept management of sourcing, procurement, and business innovation. You will leverage your ability to build strategic relationships with top-tier OEMs and military clientele while guiding multi-disciplinary teams in delivering sophisticated products on schedule and within financial parameters. Strong experience is required in FAA repair processes, avionics, engineered materials, ERP/MRP systems, and persistent process enhancements. This opportunity offers ownership over the supplier engagement lifecycle, cost management, and collaborative execution to guarantee compliant, punctual, and budget-conscious delivery of engineering materials and repairs. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, though an associate degree with relevant experience in aerospace sectors will be considered. Expertise in managing electronic components, PCBs, harnesses, and electromechanical assemblies is essential, as is familiarity with military, defense, or aerospace environments. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, BOM management, and strong negotiation capabilities are crucial.
