Job Description
Title: Program Manager (IT transformational multi-workstreams/product) Location: Des Moines, IA 50392-0001 Duration: 9–12 months
Pay Rate: $70-75/hr. on W2.Required Skills & Qualifications
- Applicants must be able to work directly for the company on a W2 basis
- Program management with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience
- Experience in IT transformational multi-workstreams/products with 4-6 years of minimum experience
- Experience managing projects of 80-100 million in size with 4-5 years of minimum experience
- Prior experience in the BFSI industry is required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science is mandatory
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Experience working in a matrix management environment
- Advanced knowledge of PC applications
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Coordinate a transformational effort including multiple workstreams and product teams
- Partner with a Senior Program Manager to ensure coordination and delivery of business outcomes
- Build and maintain a cross-program/product roadmap to illustrate timelines and key dependencies
- Create and distribute weekly status reports and other communications
- Facilitate weekly coordination meetings and planning sessions
- Identify interrelated dependencies and risks across workstreams and ensure proper mitigation
- Balance competing demands and lead through ambiguity for valuable outcome delivery
- Perform other job-related duties or special needs as required
