Job Description
A leading hospital system is seeking a Program Manager to support oncology program development and accreditation efforts. This role focuses heavily on the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), ensuring compliance, coordination, and successful implementation of accreditation standards within a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead development, evaluation, and implementation of the NAPBC program
- Ensure adherence to and fulfillment of NAPBC standards and requirements
- Develop required documentation for accreditation, including policies and protocols
- Partner closely with physician leadership to maintain compliance and accreditation readiness
- Support value-based care initiatives through process improvement efforts
- Prepare for and support accreditation surveys, site visits, and corrective action plans
- Attend and support Cancer Committee meetings (CoC and NAPBC)
- Compile, analyze, and present program data and reports during quarterly meetings
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams through accreditation processes
- Manage and organize documentation, records, and compliance materials
- Schedule and facilitate meetings, including logistics, materials preparation, and minutes documentation
- Ensure effective communication across clinical and administrative stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in program coordination, healthcare operations, or accreditation support
- Prior experience with NAPBC, CoC, or oncology accreditation programs strongly preferred
- Knowledge of breast care pathways and oncology program structures
- Experience preparing for surveys and managing corrective action plans
- Strong documentation management and organizational skills
- Ability to interpret performance metrics and quality indicators
- Strong analytical thinking and data interpretation skills
- Experience developing policies and procedures
- Excellent cross-functional communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and clinical leadership
- Strategic planning and program development capabilities
