Job Summary (List Format) Senior Program Manager, AZDOR Agency Support Division (ASD)
- Lead large-scale enterprise software implementation projects for the Arizona Department of Revenue.
- Manage and mentor a team of project managers in a hybrid (remote/onsite) environment.
- Oversee technical activities such as data conversion, system integration, DevSecOps, security, and infrastructure.
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies and promote Agile best practices to enhance team performance.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure contractual obligations and service levels are met.
- Track project progress using Azure DevOps Boards, Jira, or similar tools.
- Map and manage technical dependencies, including cloud and security requirements.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with security standards (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP) and integrate security policies into projects.
- Support organizational change management (OCM) initiatives related to project delivery.
- Maintain thorough project documentation, including charters, schedules, RACI matrices, and lessons learned.
- Requires Scrum Master certification and 10+ years of project management experience (including 3+ years in Agile/Scrum environments).
- Must have experience with enterprise software implementation, vendor management, and Agile tools.
- Preferred qualifications include SAFe/PMP certifications, government or public sector experience, and a relevant bachelor's degree.
- Position is open to local candidates only, with expectations for limited in-office attendance.
