Job Description
The Program Manager is responsible for the overall management, coordination, and execution of contract support operations delivering integrated communications solutions. This role provides leadership and strategic direction to multidisciplinary teams while ensuring all program objectives, milestones, and deliverables are achieved in alignment with Government requirements. The Program Manager serves as the primary point of contact for all contractual matters and oversees program performance across potentially multiple locations and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day management and oversight of contract support operations involving multiple projects and personnel across one or more locations.
- Lead and coordinate teams of program area experts delivering integrated communications solutions that support Government objectives.
- Plan, organize, control, and deploy program milestones, deliverables, and resources from project conception through completion or retirement.
- Develop and implement communication strategies and tactical plans aligned with program goals and stakeholder needs.
- Establish and maintain program management processes, performance metrics, and reporting mechanisms to monitor progress and measure results.
- Manage program resources, schedules, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful program execution and compliance with contractual requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all contracting actions and communications with the Government Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
- Provide overall supervision and guidance to the contract team, including oversight of duty locations, administrative requirements, and task execution as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
- Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders and ensure effective written and oral communication throughout the program lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and organizational policies and procedures.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent in one or more of the following fields:
- Communications
- Public Relations
- Public Health
- Related communications disciplines relevant to the support provided
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
- 10+ years of experience leading teams of program area experts delivering integrated communications solutions AND 5 of those years must have been supporting the DoD.
