- Leading and managing the end-to-end execution of manufacturing transfer projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.*
- Developing, maintaining, and communicating comprehensive project plans including scope, schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.*
- Coordinating cross-functional teams across manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, and external vendors to facilitate a seamless transfer process.*
- Overseeing the transfer of electromechanical manufacturing lines, including process validation, equipment relocation, and process documentation updates.*
- Acting as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and issues, and driving resolution.*
- Managing supplier relationships, conducting supplier quality evaluations, and ensuring components and sub-assemblies meet quality standards for transfer.*
- Supporting validation activities such as IQ/OQ/PQ, FAT, SAT, and process validation to ensure transferred manufacturing processes meet regulatory and quality requirements.*
- Mentoring and guiding project managers and team members, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.*
- Developing and implementing contingency plans to mitigate project risks and address unforeseen challenges.*
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including FDA regulations and quality systems like QMS and ERP platforms.*
- Facilitating communication and collaboration between local site teams and global leadership to align project objectives and expectations.*
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturing processes and transfer procedures.*
- Preparing and presenting detailed project documentation, reports, and business cases to senior leadership.*
- Ensuring the successful onboarding and training of new manufacturing lines post-transfer, supporting operational readiness.*
- Driving process optimization efforts to create efficient, lean manufacturing workflows.
- Bachelors degree required; technical or engineering background preferred.*
- 8-10+ years of program/project management experience, including leading manufacturing transfer or line transfer initiatives.*
- Proven ability to independently manage large projects.*
- Strong track record in electromechanical assembly processes within regulated environments, ideally medical device or similar.*
- Expertise in managing cross-functional teams and mentoring project managers.*
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project.*
- Experience with electronic QMS and ERP platforms (SAP, AS400), and validation processes (IQ/OQ/PQ, FAT, SAT).*
- Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.*
- Background in continuous improvement methodologies.*
- Exposure to CAPEX strategic initiatives and business case development.*
