Purpose:
Directs,coordinatesand exercises functional authority for organization, control,integrationand completion of activities relating to an assigned area of responsibility for a program. Monitors tasks and recommends improvements to processes and procedures. Promotes coordination and communication of the program team. Completes the following duties and responsibilities under the guidance and direction of Program Management
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Leads and coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, resolution of design, build and test issues, and completion of the assigned project.
Ensures proper coordination and communication of the team on the assigned project.
Consults and collaborates with personnel in various activitiesrelativeto project requirements. Conducts effective communications within the project team and the customer, supplier,manufacturingand quality communities with guidance from program management personnel. Maintains allappropriate documentation.
Monitors and analyzes established projectplan. Confirms resources and labor are available, budget is consistent with and on track for the project requirements, and the team is on track to meeting commitments. Identifiesand communicates impediments to the successful completion of project milestones asestablishedin the plan to appropriate personnel.
Utilizes and follows the product delivery process to coordinate all activities concerned with the completion of the project up to and including the launch of the assigned project.
Attends meetings (e.g.phase and gate reviews, PDTs) with internal and external customers.Representsthe project team, reviews documentation anddrawingsandprovidestechnical guidance as appropriate. Conveyscustomer requirements and issues to the team and ensuresappropriate resolutionis provided to the customer within establishedtimeframes.
Capable of fulfilling the duties of a Program Manager on a periodic or as needed basis with limited management oversite.
Other duties as assigned.
Supports Internal / External Audit effortsregardingISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949 Certification for remote site location (Group Office).
Supports the requirements as detailed in Standard Operating Procedure 8000 (Quality Management system).
Ensure employees work in the manner consistent with theorganizationsestablishedobjectivesand targetsutilizingprotective equipment, devices, measures, and procedures aspromulgatedby state and federal regulations. Establish clear goals for workplace health and safety. Complete safety talks, safety meetings, and required training occur, as defined.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s Degree(orbachelor’sequivalency)in Business Administration, Engineering or related field, orcombination ofequivalenteducation and workexperience.
Experience/Special Knowledge/Skills
Three (3)yearspreferred -diversified engineering experienceor equivalent asdeemedby the Director of Program Management.
Strongcommunicationskills:verbal, written, and technical presentations.
Ability to plan and independently prioritize work.
Demonstrated successful performance with independent problem solving and quantitative analysis skills,
Strongorganizational skills and the ability to successfully complete multiple tasks within established and changing deadlines.
Must be able to apply academic principles andutilizemath-basedtools.
Demonstrated successful performancewith word processing,presentation,databaseapplicationsand spreadsheet software to track data and perform calculations.
Minimum 1-year /2yearspreferred,directly relatedexperience to include exposure to engineering design process,materialand/or part inventory tracking, developing timelines, tracking costs,monitoringbudgetsand managing databases.
Mustbe able to readdrawings. Competency in CAD and GD&T.
