JOB OVERVIEW

MartinFed has an opening for a Program Manager to join our team of talented and diverse individuals. This role will lead one or more programs for MartinFed's federal government customers and has an overall accountability of the performance and execution of a contract.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Program management responsibilities include the following: ensuring work performed is within scope, deliverables are on time and accurate, services performed at the highest level of quality, identifying and mitigating risk and maximizing financial performance.
  • This also includes participating in resources management and managing the efforts of our team members to drive performance.
  • Day-to-day expectations involve communicating with the customer(s) and corporate leadership, coordinating with the various stakeholders, supporting recruiting and retention efforts, driving continuous improvement, ensuring optimization within the contract(s) and performing business development duties to grow contracts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • United States Citizen with a DoD Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree or four (4) additional years of related experience.
  • Must have 5+ years of experience in program management.
  • Must have 10+ years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields.
  • Must have direct, hands-on experience and extensive knowledge leading and managing large, complex task orders ensuring that the technical solutions, cost controls, and schedules are implemented efficiently and effectively.
  • Must hold a Project or Program Management certification (i.e., Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other equivalent/recognized Project or Program Management certification).
  • Team leadership skills that involve the successful management of multi- interdisciplinary teams.
  • Performs day-today management of overall contract support operations
  • Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of all contract support activities.
  • Demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possesses a DoD TS/SCI clearance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

  • Inside office environment.
  • Working on a computer for long periods of time.
  • May involve long period of sitting at a desk.
  • The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures.
