With deep expertise in emerging technologies and engineering support for the armed services, TRABUS is recognized by Inc. 5000 as one of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies for seven consecutive years, reflecting its commitment to solving real-world challenges through technical excellence and innovation.SUMMARY: TRABUS is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Managerto support the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC PAC).RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serve as the single management point of accountability for a software-intensive Navy development effort.
  • Direct software development, systems engineering, cybersecurity, integration/test, staffing, subcontractor performance, transition, quality, risk, cost, and schedule execution.
  • Manage CPFF burn rate, labor utilization, funding visibility, ETC/EAC, scope/change control, and early-warning reporting.
  • Maintain effective Government customer communications, action-item closure, staffing continuity, and performance reporting.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • Proven leadership experience, particularly in the defense sector.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional program/project management experience consistent with the eCRAFT MANP2 baseline.
  • Demonstrated management of multidisciplinary software and engineering teams on complex systems-development or modernization efforts.
  • Demonstrated cost, schedule, staffing, risk, and subcontractor management experience on Government contracts.
EDUCATION:       
  • Bachelor's-level degree in a technical or managerial discipline.
DESIRED:
  • Top Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility
  • Direct NIWC Pacific/NAVWAR C4I program experience and established customer familiarity.
  • Experience leading Agile/DevSecOps software delivery and incumbent-to-successor transition activities.
  • Experience managing small-business teammates and recruiting/retaining cleared technical staff in the San Diego market.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is desirable, but should not be treated as mandatory unless required by the final RFP.
