Project Overview
The IT Program Manager will support the execution of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) program, focused on deploying reports and models to enhance ERP analytics capabilities and integrations across the ERP ecosystem. This role ensures successful delivery of analytics initiatives aligned with company/Canals strategic objectives and supports enterprise portfolio, program, and project management (EPPM) capabilities.
Role Summary
The IT Program Manager leads and coordinates multiple IT projects within the SAP Analytics Cloud program. This role oversees planning, execution, budgeting, stakeholder engagement, vendor coordination, and risk management to deliver scalable, sustainable enterprise analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage IT projects within the SAP Analytics Cloud program
Define program and project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with leadership and stakeholders
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource allocations
Coordinate cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design effective ERP analytics solutions
Monitor project progress, risks, and dependencies; implement mitigation strategies as needed
Manage and/or coordinate RFP processes including bid issuance, evaluation, and vendor selection
Oversee vendor and internal team activities for build, testing, and implementation
Communicate program status, risks, and updates to senior leadership and stakeholders
Manage IT project budgets and ensure financial accountability
Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment
Ensure compliance with organizational standards, regulations, and best practices
Support development of scalable EPPM capabilities and enterprise project governance
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 7 years of progressive IT project/program management experience, preferably in matrixed environments
Strong understanding of ERP systems and analytics platforms
Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) preferred
Knowledge of data analytics and financial modeling concepts
Experience with SDLC and project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
Strong program management skills including:
Risk mitigation
Conflict resolution
Vendor management
Stakeholder communications
Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment
Advanced proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, and M365 tools
Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
Education & Certifications
Bachelor s degree in Business, IT, or a related technical field
Master s degree preferred
