Position Overview
Seeking a senior Program Manager to support a Department of Defense (DoD) enterprise IT program at USSOCOM. This role is not a commercial PM position. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience leading federal IT programs, managing large teams, and serving as the primary interface with senior government leadership.Key Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale DoD enterprise IT programs
- Manage multiple contracts, teams, and program workstreams
- Serve as the primary interface with government stakeholders
- Oversee contract deliverables, schedules, staffing, and performance
- Ensure high-quality execution and customer satisfaction
- Lead strategic planning, executive reporting, and risk management
- Support and collaborate with Program Management Offices (PMOs)
- Master's degree preferred
- Relevant government experience may substitute for education
- 10+ years of experience managing DoD or federal IT programs
- Proven experience managing large teams and complex contracts
- Experience interfacing directly with senior government leadership
- Strong background in managing deliverables, SLAs, and program performance
- Experience in enterprise-level IT environments
- Experience with strategic planning and risk management
- USSOCOM or other Combatant Commands
- Special Operations Forces (SOF), TSOC, JSOC
- DISA, Joint Staff, or DoD CIO organizations
- Experience supporting headquarters-level environments
