Project/Program Manager - Non ITJob SummaryThe Project/Program Manager leads large-scale, complex, cross-functional initiatives from initiation through delivery. This role is responsible for developing and managing comprehensive project plans, aligning work to business outcomes, managing risk and dependencies, and ensuring on-time, in-scope delivery with clear communication to stakeholders at all levels.Responsibilities
- Direct large-scale, complex projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project artifacts, including project charter, integrated project plan, resource plan, contingency plan, and related documentation.
- Validate financial forecasts and perform ongoing reconciliation of resources and project expenditures.
- Build, lead, and coach multiple project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Define and track project milestones while maintaining and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs with strong command of delivery methodologies (Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall).
- Engage executives and stakeholders to manage competing priorities, resolve conflicts, and drive decisions without formal authority.
- Translate complex project details into clear business language and set appropriate expectations and escalation paths.
- Align project work to business outcomes, anticipate downstream impacts, and adjust course based on organizational priorities.
- Collaborate across functions including credentialing, utilization management, claims adjudication, and network management to anticipate and manage cross-functional impacts.
- Support delivery in highly regulated environments, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations while minimizing operational disruption.
- Use operational and performance data to surface risks early, drive prioritization, and communicate impact to the business.
- Proven experience successfully delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives on time and within scope.
- Strong knowledge and practical use of delivery methodologies such as Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall.
- Demonstrated ability to manage risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs with disciplined execution.
- Ability to engage and influence executives and stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strong skills in managing competing priorities, resolving conflicts, and driving decisions.
- Ability to translate complex project and technical details into clear, concise business language.
- Experience aligning projects to measurable business outcomes and quantifying value and impact.
- Bachelor s degree.
- Proficiency with MS Office or similar productivity tools.
- Advanced project and program management skills across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management, including executive-level communication and influence.
- Risk, dependency, and issue management with data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to navigate and lead in regulated or policy-driven environments.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to connect project work to broader business outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Team leadership, coaching, and collaboration across diverse functions.
- Proven track record leading large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders to successful completion.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional work and operational dependencies.
- Experience operating in regulated or highly structured environments while maintaining delivery focus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use metrics and data to identify risk and guide prioritization.
- Bachelor s degree and experience using standard productivity and collaboration tools.
