Job Opportunity in Sunnyvale, CA
Join our dynamic team in Sunnyvale, CA, a vibrant hub for innovation and technology. We are seeking a motivated individual to gather requirements, build program schedules, drive stakeholder accountability, and provide daily/weekly status updates for various programs. This is a full-time position, offering an exciting chance to work onsite with a diverse group of professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Cross-Functional Coordination & Stakeholder Management (25%) - Align diverse teams including engineering, research, legal, privacy, and operations, along with external partners such as third-party vendors and participants, towards shared milestones. Communicate effectively across both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Risk Management & Problem-Solving (25%) - Proactively identify risks, resolve ambiguities, and adapt plans when projects encounter scope changes, technical issues, or operational challenges.
- Attention to Detail & Process Rigor (25%) - Maintain trackers, timelines, and documentation with strong organizational skills. Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team Player and Action-Oriented (25%) - Be a personable, team-oriented individual with a bias toward action and getting the job done.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with study design logistics, participant recruitment workflows, data integrity practices, and the operational mechanics of running user studies or similar projects at scale.
- 3 years of experience in engineering or technical program management.
- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional and executive stakeholder engagement.
- Background in data collection or user studies is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience working on past Black or Ultra projects is preferred.
Educational Background
A Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline such as computer science, mechanical, or industrial engineering is ideal but not required. We welcome diverse educational backgrounds that bring a variety of perspectives to our team.
