Program Manager II - U.S. Sales Onboarding

Your Impact

  • Axon is seeking a highly organized, service-minded Program Manager II to own the end-to-end U.S. Sales onboarding experience.
  • This role will focus 100% on U.S. Sales onboarding - driving both the strategy and execution of our in-person 2-day onboarding experience and the full 90-day ramp journey. You will serve as the operational backbone and experience owner for every new U.S. Sales hire, ensuring seamless entry, clear milestones, and long-term success.
  • You'll partner closely with Sales leadership, managers, coaches, and People Ops to create a high-touch onboarding experience that accelerates productivity, builds confidence, and sets the foundation for long-term performance and growth.
  • This is a high-visibility role supporting Axon's largest revenue engine.

What You'll Do

  • Own the strategy and execution of the 2-day in-person U.S. Sales onboarding experience, ensuring every session is organized, high-impact, and delivered with excellence.
  • Lead and support the structured 90-day onboarding journey, partnering closely with managers and coaches to ensure clear milestones, accountability, and alignment.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for new hires, providing white-glove support to ensure a seamless and positive entry into Axon.
  • Partner with Sales leadership and Sales coaching teams to align onboarding with ongoing ever boarding and performance expectations.
  • Build strong relationships with new hires, proactively identifying gaps, risks, or opportunities to improve their ramp experience.
  • Continuously evaluate onboarding content, logistics, and structure - recommending and implementing improvements.
  • Collaborate with People Ops, Sales Ops, and cross-functional teams to ensure systems, tools, and communications are aligned and timely.
  • Track onboarding progress, gather feedback, and provide reporting and insights to leadership on ramp effectiveness and experience trends.
  • Maintain detailed documentation, schedules, and program assets to ensure consistency and scalability.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Onboarding, Sales Enablement, Program Management, Customer Experience, or a related field.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail - you don't let balls drop.
  • Strong customer service mindset; you naturally create positive, supportive experiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple onboarding cohorts and timelines simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, especially in in-person environments.
  • Confidence partnering with Sales leaders, managers, and coaches.
  • Process-oriented thinking with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth sales environment.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, MS Office, and related tools.
  • Sales background preferred but not required.

Be Obsessed: Why This Role is Exciting

  • You'll directly impact the speed-to-productivity of Axon's U.S. Sales organization.
  • You'll become the face of the U.S. Sales onboarding experience.
  • You'll work closely with Sales leadership and coaching teams to influence long-term rep success.
  • You'll have ownership of a highly visible, business-critical program.

Expect Candor: The Honest Truths

  • Hiring cadence is frequent - onboarding is continuous.
  • This role requires stamina, consistency, and strong execution.
  • You'll balance strategy with detailed logistics - both matter.
  • U.S. Sales is diverse and fast-moving; adaptability is essential.

Location: This role is based out of our Scottsdale HQ and follows an onsite schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Mondays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely every other Monday, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. We believe that connection fuels innovation, and our in-office culture is designed to foster meaningful teamwork, mentorship, and shared success.
