3. Summary of the opportunity
- Client Overview: Our client is a leading technology company known for its innovative research and development initiatives.
- Role Summary: As a Mid-Level Program Manager, you will play a vital role in driving the successful delivery of various community initiatives and programs within the Microsoft Research community. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strategize, plan, and execute programs, conferences, and workshops, while fostering a positive and high-performing community culture.
4. What are the key responsibilities?
- Responsibilities and Duties:
- Own the strategizing, planning, and budgeting for Microsoft Research community initiatives and programs.
- Collaborate with research stakeholders to align program objectives with business priorities.
- Leverage available technologies to advise and guide the delivery of impactful program outcomes.
- Build and execute community engagement programs to support organizational priorities and recruitment initiatives.
- Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
5. What experience are we looking for to drive success?
- MUST-Have Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Affairs, Business, or related field.
- 5-6 years of experience in program, event, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical curiosity to understand and discuss technical concepts.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple work streams.
- Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- PMI or PMP certification.
