Job Description

Jewish Family & Children’s Service (JF&CS) seeks a Program Outreach Manager to lead relationship building, generate demand for our services, cultivate new clients for its programs in the areas of aging and disabilities. The Program Outreach Manager will play a critical role in increasing program revenue and visibility in the community, focusing to start on Your Elder Experts, Life Skills Coaching & Support, Educational Advocacy, Adult Family Care, and CHAI Works.

The Program Outreach Manager will be part of a 10-person Institutional Advancement team responsible for marketing, fundraising and volunteer services at JF&CS. They will report to the Chief Advancement Officer and will collaborate closely with program leaders and the Director of Marketing & Communications, who oversees JF&CS brand positioning, development communications and program communications in the areas of parenting, mental health, basic needs and outreach to the Jewish community. This is a full-time position with a hybrid schedule and an expectation of at least 3 days in the Waltham office.

Role Summary

The Program Outreach Manager is a growth-focused leader responsible for owning marketing, outreach, and go-to-market strategy for many of the JF&CS fee-for-service programs, with the mandate to increase impact, utilization, revenue, and visibility in the community.  Areas of significant growth include programs related to aging and services for adults with disabilities.

This role partners with program leaders and Institutional Advancement colleagues to create a high-quality pipeline of potential clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Planning
    • Build and own the marketing and outreach strategy for each program: audience segmentation, value proposition, messaging, channel mix, stakeholder mapping and outreach plans aligned to revenue and visibility goals.
    • Set engagement goals and track progress.
  • Demand Generation & Outreach
    • Design and execute multi‑channel demand campaigns (web/SEO, email automation, paid social/search, print, events, and partnerships) that drive qualified inquiries and bookings.
    • Identify and cultivate relationships with key community partners, referral sources, and organizations that align with the mission and goals of JF&CS programs.
    • Support program leaders and subject matter experts to engage with external audiences.
    • Personally represent JF&CS programs in the community through direct outreach, networking, and participation in relevant events and forums.
  • Content & Collateral
    • Produce high-qualityy landing pages,one pagersrs, emails, nurture sequences, and other materials.
  • Brand Alignment & Collaboration
    • Ensure all program marketing adheres to JF&CS brand standards, in close partnership with the Director of Marketing & Communications (earned media, social strategy, website governance).

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in outreach, relationship management, marketing, or demand generation, preferably in nonprofit or services settings.
  • Demonstrated success running multi‑channel campaigns that produce measurable pipeline and revenue impact.
  • Proficiency with email automation, analytics, SEO/SEM, and paid social; comfortable with data driven decision making.
  • Demonstrated success in building and sustaining partnerships, networks, and referral relationships.
  • Excellent writing, messaging, and presentation skills; able to translate complex offerings into clear, compelling value propositions.
  • Strong project management; thrives in a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Commitment to JF&CS mission and values of inclusion, dignity, and client-centered service.

Work Environment & Compensation

  • Hybrid role based in Waltham, MA, with at least 3 days/week in office to support collaboration with program teams and community outreach.
  • Salary range is $80,000-$90,000
