Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Program Security Specialist to join our team! In this role you will get to Provide program and information security support to protect personnel, facilities, information, and systems.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provide program and information security support to protect personnel, facilities, information, and systems.
  • Assist in the implementation, management, and compliance of security programs at Special Access Program (SAP), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and IC Controlled Access Program (CAP) levels.
  • Coordinate security operations with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to mission and regulatory requirements
  • Support personnel and facility security by managing SAP/CAP access requirements, coordinating Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) accreditation, enforcing access control policies, and coordinating visitor security operations.
  • Provide security awareness briefings and ensure compliance with physical security requirements.
  • Assist in information and systems security by monitoring security compliance, maintaining secure data handling processes, and supporting security assessments.
  • Contribute to System Security Plans (SSPs), security audits, and cryptographic security functions to enhance operational security posture.
  • Support security program management by conducting risk assessments, tracking security incidents, and ensuring classification management compliance.
  • Explore avenues to improve security guidelines, methods, processes, training, communication, and compliance while balancing the need to support dynamic, evolving, unprecedented operational requirements
  • Provide the subject matter expertise for all formal and informal inspections and accreditation requests and requirements
  • Clearance Investigation, Files, DISS, JADE, PDAS Coordination, and Indoctrination Support
  • Update Information Security briefs, track standard forms security container combinations
  • Support services for in-processing, indoctrinations, debriefings, coordination with other units send/receive files and input data into the system
  • Assist with visit requests and training on classified material.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • An Active TS/SCI w/ CI POLY.
  • A Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of security experience.
  • Familiarity of DISS & JADE.
  • Advanced knowledge of PERSEC polices, standard operating procedures and continuity binder.
  • Strong knowledge on Maintain and reviewing the backlog, of all SCI/SAP personnel security files.
  • Prior or current experiences within Special Access Programs (SAPs).
