Description Are you a licensed architect ready to lead exciting commercial and healthcare design projects? A growing, design-forward architecture firm in Charlotte, NC is searching for a Project Architect / Project Manager to join their tight-knit studio team. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside visionary leadership on impactful projects ranging from medical office buildings and wellness spaces to retail and cultural institutions. You’ll have the autonomy to shape projects from pre-design through construction, engage in business development, and help build the firm’s future identity—all while enjoying a collaborative, flexible work environment in a dog-friendly office! Qualifications and responsibilities for this Project Architect / Project Manager position include: 5+ years of professional architectural experience, ideally with at least 3 years as a licensed architect Proven experience managing commercial projects from concept through construction administration Strong design and production skills using Revit, with working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Ability to lead project teams, mentor junior staff, and manage project schedules, budgets, and client expectations Participation in client meetings, community outreach, and business development efforts to build relationships and generate new work Comfortable managing multiple project types including healthcare, retail, and civic design Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited program Passion for design leadership, business growth, and collaborative studio culture Salary: $85,000 – $115,000 per year, commensurate with experience and licensure. Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including 100% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) with 50% match up to 6%; 160 hours PTO; paid holidays; office closure from 12/24–1/1; flexible 4.5-day work week; and future equity or bonus potential.
