Job Description
Job Title: Project Compliance Assistant
Schedule: Monday–Friday Salary Range: $35,000 – $45,000 per year
Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Compliance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and comfortable working with documentation and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve subcontractor invoices and supporting documentation prior to payment
- Coordinate with project managers and internal teams to ensure proper job classifications and approvals
- Verify subcontractor and vendor compliance, including contracts, insurance certificates, W-9 forms, and other required documentation
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in invoices, documentation, or compliance records
- Maintain organized and accurate records for all subcontractors, vendors, and project documentation
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accuracy of employee data and reporting
- Prepare and submit required government reports in a timely manner
- Support audits and compliance reviews as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and/or accounting software
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
