Job Title: Project Control SpecialistLocation: Berlin, CT 06037Duration: 03 Months (Temp to Hire)Payrate: $40/hr on W2 (all inclusive)Job Description:Role and Scope of Position
- Development and maintenance of project schedule and budget and development of related reports.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting capabilities.
- Experience with utility capital investment business models is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated financial management experience, including:
- Cash flow forecasting and management for capital projects, including both internal labor and contractor-supported work.
- Purchase Order (PO) financial tracking and oversight.
- Financial risk assessment and mitigation to support achievement of investment objectives.
- Capital portfolio financial planning, monitoring, and performance management.
- Identification, evaluation, and communication of financial risks and opportunities.
- Strong data management, analysis, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, particularly between Project Management and Financial Management organizations.
- Experience preparing and delivering executive and leadership-level reporting, including financial performance, portfolio status, risks, and investment outcomes.
- 2-5 years of experience.
