Job Description
- Assist with developing, maintaining, updating, and analyzing integrated project schedules in accordance with project requirements.
- Collect, validate, and update project progress data from project teams and stakeholders.
- Assist with monitoring project metrics including schedule dates, physical percent complete, resource needs, subcontractor deliverables, costs, and accruals.
- Assist with documenting planning objectives, scope, milestones, and other project information for inclusion in scheduling and reporting processes.
- Track schedule progress and support project setup, closeout, status reporting, and milestone tracking.
- Support data-quality checks and reconciliation of project information across scheduling, cost, financial, and reporting systems, as applicable.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant professional experience. Relevant backgrounds may include project controls, scheduling, construction, engineering, project/program coordination, estimating, cost control, operations, data analysis, or related project-delivery functions.
- 2–5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and data-quality skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with project managers, analysts, contractors, client representatives, and other stakeholders.
- Organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with a scheduling tool such as Primavera or MS Project.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, including the ability to organize, analyze, and present project data.
- Ability to successfully complete any required background investigation and pre-employment screening consistent with federal contract requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Prior experience with DoD, DOE, USACE, or other federal contracts.
- Familiarity with project controls tools, scheduling, cost control, reporting, or methodologies in a federal contracting or similar project-delivery environment.
