Description

A growing structural steel fabrication and installation company is seeking a Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager in Rhome, TX to support exciting commercial and industrial steel installation projects. This is a great opportunity for a construction professional looking to transition from the field into project coordination while receiving mentorship from experienced Project Managers and executive leadership, with a strong path toward future project management growth.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager position include:

2-3 years of construction industry experience required, with previous field experience strongly preferred.
Assist Project Managers in coordinating structural steel installation projects from fabrication completion through field execution.
Communicate professionally with general contractors, clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Coordinate project schedules, timelines, logistics, material deliveries, and installation activities.
Track budgets, costs, project documentation, spreadsheets, reports, and project records.
Monitor project progress and help resolve scheduling or operational issues.
Conduct occasional job site visits to support project execution and gain field exposure.
Experience with structural steel fabrication, installation, solar, wind, data centers, or large-scale construction projects is a plus.

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
