Our client is a well-established general contractor specializing in interior construction across multifamily, commercial, and retail spaces. They're known for strong client relationships, repeat business, and a collaborative, no-ego culture. Projects range from tenant improvements and build-outs to full interior renovations, primarily within the Chicagoland area.
Description
Support Project Managers with day-to-day project execution
Track schedules, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
Assist with procurement, material tracking, and delivery schedules
Maintain accurate project records and reporting
Attend project meetings and assist with meeting minutes and follow-ups
Help ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
Profile
2+ years of experience in construction (GC, subcontractor, or developer side)
Experience with interior construction strongly preferred
Familiarity with construction documents, schedules, and workflows
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable communicating with PMs, supers, subs, and clients
Proficient in Microsoft Office; construction software experience is a plus
Motivated, proactive, and interested in long-term growth in construction project management
Job Offer
$65,000-$85,000 salary, based on experience
