A Day in the Life of a Project DirectorAs a Project Director at First Onsite, you play a pivotal role in bringing restoration projects to life-from initial scope to successful completion. Using industry-leading tools like Xactimate, you'll develop accurate scopes of work, detailed estimates, and preliminary budgets that create the foundation for project success. Partnering closely with Operations, you'll analyze field measurements, plans, photos, and material requirements, combining technical expertise with a strong understanding of construction and restoration costs to drive exceptional outcomes.This role is ideal for a relationship-builder with a proactive, service-first mindset. You'll collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep projects moving efficiently, resolve challenges before they become roadblocks, and ensure financial performance stays on track. Through clear communication, sharp attention to detail, and a solutions-focused approach, you'll help deliver high-quality results while making a lasting impact for our customers when they need it most.Responsibilities:Manage projects from start to finish, including crews, subcontractors, and schedules

Prepare budgets, estimates, and scope of work; maintain profit margins

Oversee daily jobsite operations, safety, and documentation

Review and approve subcontractor proposals and change orders

Collaborate with operations to ensure projects stay on schedule and budget

Maintain client deliverables and project records in SalesforceConduct mitigation assessments and develop project plans

Respond to project needs 24/7Experience & Education:Leadership experience in construction/restorationKnowledge of construction documents and large loss projects3+ years industry experience

High school diploma required; bachelor's degree, preferred4+ certifications

Disaster restoration experience, preferred

Valid driver's license
